Professor of Comparative Politics, University of Tokyo

I am a professor of comparative politics at the Institute of Social Science, University of Tokyo. I am originally from Ireland but was raised in Tokyo, Japan. I moved to the United States for my BA at Princeton University, obtained a PhD in political science from Stanford, and worked at a number of universities, most recently as an assistant professor of political science at the University of Michigan.
