Breakfast is included at Ginza Grand Hotel.
Meet in Hotel Lobby
Meet CIEE staff in hotel lobby. ATTIRE: Casual, comfortable shoes. Lots of walking planned.
Travel to Yotsuya CIEE Office
Take Tokyo Metro from Ginza Hotel to Yotsuya and walk to CIEE. TRAVEL TIME APPROX: 50 mins
CIEE Orientation Survival Japanese
Classroom style presentations at CIEE offices in Yotsuya
Tokyo Scavenger Hunt & Lunch
Tokyo Scavenger Hunt with Japanese Students. You will then be able to get your own lunch in the area. Students & Program Leaders promptly meet at Asakusa Kaminari at 2:30PM Program leaders will be waiting at Asakusa which can be accessed via the Subway.
Guided walking tour
Guided walking tour of Sensoji Asakusa Shrine from 2:30PM to 4PM
Travel to Nihonbashi
Depart Asakusa for Nihonbashi. Travel via Subway. APPROX 30 min
Walking Tour Deux
Walking Tour at Nihonbashi. *Possibly visit Takashimaya Department Store*
Welcome Dinner
Welcome Dinner organized bu CIEE at the Ginza.
Daily Close Out
After returning to the hotel. There will be a daily check in. Today it will be with Return to hotel Dr. Hinojosa. It would be good to take the Daily Survey at this time before doing some Creative Writing.
