Breakfast is included at Ginza Grand Hotel.

Meet in Hotel Lobby

TIME: 8:45AM

Meet CIEE staff in hotel lobby. ATTIRE: Business but with comfortable shoes

Travel to Classroom Lecture

TIME: 9:30AM - 11AM

Classroom Lecture with Dr. Charles McClean. Take Tokyo Metro from Ginza Hotel to Bellesalle Higashi Ginza Kaigishitu (Room 3) Tsukiji 1-12-6, Chuo-Ku, Tokyo or walk. TRAVEL TIME APPROX: 20 mins

Lunch TBD

Depart for the Prime Minister’s Office

TIME: 1PM

Dr. Charles McClean to accompany students via the Subway to travel to Prime Minister’s Office. 2-3-1 Nagatachō, Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo. TRAVEL TIME APPROX: 60 mins

Meeting with Mr. Hideki Murai

〇 14:00 – 14:15 Group A meets Mr. Murai (Group B waits in the waiting room)
〇 14:15 – 14:30 Group B meets Mr. Murai (Group A waits in the waiting room)

Short Break

Depart for Nation Diet

TIME: 3:20PM

Gather for tour at House of Representatives for a short walk with Dr. Charles McClean at APPROX 3:20PM

National Diet Walking Tour

TIME: 3:30PM - 4:30PM

Tour National Diet. The tour is in Japanese, with English translation provided. Timetable APPROX 60 mins.

Tour the Imperial Palace Gardens

TIME: 5PM

This activity is currently TBD as well as a visit to Tokyo Station Character Stores.

Daily Close Out

TIME: 7:30PM ~

After returning to the hotel. There will be a daily check in. Today it will be with Return to hotel Dr. Hinojosa. It would be good to take the Daily Survey at this time before doing some Creative Writing.

Dinner and Next Day Prep

Free time/dinner on your own Pack small travel bag for Kansai trip. Large suitcase can be left with the bell desk.
